Q- “Cory tell us about some of your career highlights…”
A-“In 2007 I did a shoot for American Health an Fitness with Robert Reiff who is a well respected photographer. During the warm-up I was practicing some high kicks and Robert asked me to continue and let him grab some shots. I was blown away with what he captured… a kick with my leg extended directly over my head. I asked him how he did that and he told me he had shot some pretty quick athletes: Bill (Super foot) Wallace, Jackie Chan, Chuck Norris…I was stunned. Those were my idols.”
Q-“You were on the cover of a Silhouette Romance Novel- how was that experience?”
A-“Very humbling. Many people from my hometown had no idea about my modeling and acting career so when someone picked up a copy of the book and recognized me- word got around. When I was next in town people made a point of telling me how proud they were of me and the good things I was doing- they even asked me to sign copies of the book for them, that was an honour.”
Q- “You don’t get a physique like yours with out a lot of hard work…where did you learn your work ethic?”
A- “When I was 9 years old my Dad would take me out to the forest behind our house to help chop wood. I was good at it- I enjoye d the work. One day my Great Uncle asked my Dad to buy the wood. My Dad told him to check with me because I was the one who cut it… I have never forgotten that moment. I was so surprised and grateful that my Dad had given me such a great responsibility. It is a gift to be paid for what you enjoy doing…I gained 8 dollars and a sense of worth that day.” |
